Sabuk Lodge is remote and beautiful; an exclusive wilderness haven on the edge of the Northern Laikipia Plateau. The lodge is perched on a cliff overlooking the EwasoNyiro River, which cascades beneath the lodge all year round. Sabuk, which remains a family home, offers wilderness and stunning views of the Laikipia plains towards Mount Kenya, as well as the Karisa Hills and Mathews Mountains in the north.
Accommodation is offered in six en-suite, open-front stone and thatch cottages. Each cottage has a private veranda with stunning views. Ideal for families, Eagle Cottage contains two fantastic en-suite rooms; one with a king-size bed and the other with three single beds. Eagle Cottage also has its own exclusive ‘mess’ and plunge pool.
Activities at Sabuk Lodge include guided nature walks, game drives, camel safaris and excursions, fly camping, cultural visits, bush breakfasts and picnic lunches on the river banks, hilltop sundowners, line fishing, river swimming, tubing the rapids, rock jumping, and horse riding.
